Standard Mosaic Patterns

Standard mosaic patterns consist of small square, rectangular, hexagon, diamond, octagon, or honeycomb stone pieces on a standard mesh. Those stones are mostly marble, travertine, onyx, and limestone in the natural stone business. Turkish stone mosaic patterns are highly preferred worldwide, especially in the USA. Stacked Stone Ledger Panel

A stacked stone ledger panel is a kind of system name. It is also called as “Z Panel”. Actually, the production style is the same as the patterned mosaic. Z Panels allow you to make a faster and easier installation.

  1. Cutting of natural stone chips.
  2. Lay chips and arrange them according to the shape.
  3. Glue chips to each other on thickness or after laying them on the shape, glue them to fiber mesh and then remove the shape.

​The above steps are used during the production of any stone mosaic panel. Sometimes, a cement background is used on the back to makes installation easier than heavy patterns.

Ledger (Z) panel stone mosaic sizes are mostly 6″ x 24″ – 8″ x 24″ – 4,5″ x 16″. Please have a look below drawing.
